The following are rules of conduct created for the Confutatis Kick chat but are a good baseline for interaction within this community in general. Please make yourself familiar with them before participating in public discussions. Thank you!

Community Rules

1. Ultimately, heed the discretion of the streamer. Respect those entrusted with elevated roles. Public chat is water off your back; don't stress it.
2. Your tone is important. Be respectful and supportive. Don't derail others.
3. You're encouraged to think critically and examine presumptions about society, authority or traditional values. Assume a context of abuse/marginalization as opposed to assuming upon others to oblige conformity to mainstream ideals/conclusions in lieu of expression. Give people the benefit of the doubt. Moderation is weighted towards discouraging repression of the meek. Remember Rule 2, else:
4. If you don't support something said or the content, don't participate or utilize muting. Express personal concerns relating to community/chat privately; to mods or via Matrix or talktoconfutatis [at] proton [dot] me, subject: "Community concern". No backseat moderation otherwise. Remember Rule 1.
5. Keep chat on-topic about this channel. Don't discuss other channels. Don't announce other channels going live. Don't solicit participation in third-party, external communities relating to this channel. Don't intrude on other communities/channels under the pretense of representing Confutatis or the community around Confutatis.
6. No spamming, trolling or low-quality messages (e.g. [non-exhaustive], all-caps, ASCII art, multi-emote chains, cancel-culture/clickbait/generic).
7. Reported malicious/toxic conduct outside of expressly designated official community forums that is directed towards members of the Confutatis community may result in remedial actions within the community when relevant.
8. Follow Community Guidelines of the platform in use.
